Les Mis CH 4

~First Impression A death and a bond, later explained I was kind of surprised to know that the bishop decided to at least form a bond with the man to be executed. Not many will speak to one labeled as a criminal.

A word about the miserables

The preface to me basically states that as long as there is bad in the world, the book Les Miserables should be able to be understood perfectly by those who see what's happening and what there is to notice that isn't pure good intentions.

journal for- s e p t 2 4

I can't put what was my initial thought into the journal because I'm sure I would get into trouble, but just know, I laughed. H A R D.  If the president was at my front door, I wouldn't have answered if I didn't know who was at the door, but if I did open the door, I would ask him why he's here; because I know that I will hear some bs, I would be filled with confusion, tell him it's the wrong address and ask him to please leave and shut the door.

Les Mis ch 2

Selfless man. Chose a crappy hospital to help others live in comfort with a sense of security in a new house where the is space for many to rest. The bishop is one remarkable man. :)

One thing I wished you guys did a little differently is to be a bit more understanding of the fact that not all of us can do much work when we have other work from the rest of our classes. I thank the teachers that I have that know that doing work for school can be a little difficult to do with the distractions at home. I understand that this is high school, but it gets a little overwhelming having to do so much work for one class and needing to turn it in, in a matter of time when I have other classes that require attention as well. So, the thing to reconsider is, try and understand that not all of us exactly have the time to do the work you assign us and not get frustrated at the fact that we can't do the loads and loads of work we have altogether. -Aleida S. LES MIS #1; The Good and The Bad

So, I've just heard the first chapter of Les Miserables and I find it kind of interesting that the author put the dessert before the veggies. Usually, in a book the author makes something bad before it becomes good, but that's usually fiction. Most of what I read during the summer was like that and I've enjoyed them; yes, I did read a few stories that were more realistic than the previous ones, and those were the ones that really had me on the tip of my toes because of how much they captivated me with the reality of things. By the looks of things, I'm pretty sure that Les Miserables is going to be like that, and to say I'm a little bit excited would be an understatement. I like the way the author was like, yes they have a good life, but after the revolution, it all went downhill.  -peace out

THE REASON VICTOR HUGO WROTE LES MISÉRABLES

Hey, dude. Did you know the reason Victor Hugo wrote Les Miserables? No? Oh. Want me to tell you? Alright, so this dude Victor Hugo was a normal man who idk, I guess that he saw unfairness between the rich and the poor, but he noticed that both suffer in their own ways. So, he decided to create a book of stories that were real in their own way. So, this Victor guy said, " ;—in other words, and with a still wider significance, so long as ignorance and poverty exist on earth, books of the nature of  Les Misérables  cannot fail to be of use. ".

Hack to School Video

Sorry if I laughed in some of the clips, I filmed this with my brother so it was bound to happen. :) ps. the last clip didn't show up only the audio but the text just basically said, " A b+ because I have a lot of assignments so a few are bound to be missing".

E S S A Y on the right to our opinion

Prompt: How can arguing and giving up any "right" to our own opinion save our lives, improve our country, and secure the future for the next generation? Keeping to Yourself   Do you think giving up your “right” to your own opinions and being able to argue can eventually make the world a better place and save lives for many generations to come? Keeping your words to yourself and not expressing how you feel might just change everything. Many say they cannot put their thoughts into words, so why not say them at all? If we kept our opinions to only ourselves, there would not be any arguments, only people with different thoughts. I can just imagine a world where many people are working to improve our government, save our lives and moreover, create a safe and secure environment for our future generations, but could it be with or without arguments? Not being able to express disagreement may be okay with some people because they like to keep to themselves, others look for an a
