First impression
what in the heck, the drunk was rude but it was pretty interesting to see what he had to say. God, isn't good? Also, Gilded? Like the bible sometimes is? That man sounds creative with his words.
Main Character, Jean Valjean. I see that Jean committed a crime for his and his family's survival. I don't like poachers, they're cruel. I feel bad that Jean Valjean was only supposed to spend 5 years in jail. The way Jean Valjean had faced more bad ways of life has made me wonder how terrible it really must've been. this chapter made me realize how big world hunger really is.
